Pair large-scale ladder-back braided-rush seat armchairs, attributed to Paolo Buffa. Shaped ladder-back, turned arm supports, tapered round legs. Seats covered by woven bands of braided rush. Sold together and priced $4,700 for the pair.

Materials:	Walnut and braided seat
Condition:	Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Appears to be original woven rush seats and finish. A couple of slight abrasions on finish. Seats each measure H 19 inches x W 19.25 inches x D 17 inches and arms are H 28 inches.
