Qing dynasty silver tea and coffee set by Kwan Wo
Chinese, Late 19th Century
Largest: Height 21.5cm, width 24cm, depth 15cm

This beautiful tea and coffee set was made in China by Kwan Wo.

The set comprises a coffee pot, teapot, milker, and a sugar bowl. The handles and spouts on all pieces are modelled as bamboo shoots, their design celebrating the natural world. The pieces are decorated throughout in high relief with dragons and clouds creating a dream-like composition.

The overall design of this magnificent tea and coffee set is a very distinctive piece of craftsmanship from the late Qing period. The pieces are marked ‘KW’ alongside other Chinese marks.

All pieces weight approximately 1470 grams.
