British Colonial padouk wood tilt top side table, the square top with gadrooned edges and fluted apron on the reeded post with three carved supports on a triangular base with paw feet.
Colonial tables with center posts and applied supports such as this are said to come from Calcutta. The refined carving and proportions of this example place it in the early decades of the 19th century. -
