This crystal sculpture is a wonderful, non-reproducible unique piece.
It is called 'The Artist's Hands' because the crystal was curved and shaped perfectly to the size of the hands of the artist who made it.
Up close it is possible to appreciate the different carvings that are the result of the artisanal processing of this material. The initially transparent crystal then underwent a 'sandblasting' process, thus becoming opaque.
The curvature and shape of the crystal make this sculpture ideal as a decorative bowl or pocket emptier.
The way the hands are arranged also makes it perfect as a holder for sweets or other treats. In fact, the hands in this way convey the message of wanting to donate something.
