Description
A highly unique and rare masterfully crafted center games table, attributed to the iconic Italian designer, Osvaldo Borsani. The circular top is supported on a vellum tapered pedestal base with brass banding decoration towards the top and at the base where it is surrounded by marble. The top is made of vellum with an outer carved molding in wood; five cards are inlaid on the surface, a heart, king, joker, club and spade and are all hand-carved and hand-painted on wood. A fine example of the masterful craftsmanship of the Borsani workshop and the use of exotic materials.
