Antique Gold Gem set Dragon Fly Brooch European C.1910. Large and very nicely detailed and centrally set with a yellow oval facetted sapphire further set with Demantoid Garnets, Diamonds, Emeralds, and cabochon ruby set eyes. measures 3.75 inches from wing tip to wing tip and 2.75 inches, head to tail of abdomen. All mounted in 14K (acid tested) gold and silver. Approximately 189 single cut diamonds, four round cut demantoid garnets and eight small emeralds. Total Item weight: 21.25 grams. Gold pin and trombone clasp to reverse.
