    11751 – SET OF EXTREMELY FINE WOODCUTS OF ANCIENT HAND MIRRORS BY FRITZ ENDELL (1873–1955) German But Executed In New York, Circa 1918. Measurements: Framed: Height: 24 3/4″ (62.9 cm); Width: 22 3/4″ (57.8 cm). Sight size: Height: 9 1/2″(24.2 cm); Width: 7 1/2″ (19 cm).

    Of ink on paper. Each woodcut in the white-line style representing an ancient bronze hand mirror depicting an engraved classical scene, with inscribed title and collection as follows:

    The present set of eight woodcuts was executed by the German painter and engraver Fritz August Gottfried Endell1 (1873–1955), and belong to his series of Greek Engraved Mirrors in American Collections, executed circa 1918.
