This thoughtfully designed Modernist Biscuit Tufted 'Relaxed' Sofa in Holly Hunt Upholstery is by Florence Knoll, originating from the United States, Circa 2000. Featuring a chrome frame and supports in minimal rectilinear pillars, the body of the sofa is upholstered in a beautiful muted earth tone of Holly Hunt Upholstery, achieved with a woven framework of threads in black, warm browns, and cream. The sofa has three seat cushions and back supports featuring precise biscuit tufting which adds lovely geometric detailing and provides a subtle rounding of form on this highly geometric and minimal piece. This sofa is a gorgeous example of work of Florence Knoll, known for bringing modernist design sensibilities into the office space and thoughtfully using geometric minimal designs with humanizing materials, form, and colors. This sofa will style brilliantly in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Mint Restored Condition.
