Description
A set of 4 mid-century Chiavari high back chairs, Model P5, crafted by Fratelli Podestà in the 1970s.
These chairs, made from ash wood and cane, showcase the hallmarks of Chiavari chair design with their light yet sturdy build. What sets the P5 model apart is its wider and incredibly comfortable seat, combined with a sleek, slim high back that adds a striking visual element to their design.
Restored to their original vintage condition in our dedicated atelier, these chairs have been meticulously hand-caned, following age-old techniques passed down through generations of Chiavari artisans.
With dimensions of 41 x 45 x 87.5cm (DxWxH), these chairs offer both historical significance and functional beauty, representing the time-honored craftsmanship of this charming Italian town. -
