A large charcoal-on-paper rendering by arguably one of America's most influential artists. It comes from the pioneering Allan Stone Galleries, who was an early champion of Willem de Kooning and the avant-garde. The work looks better in person. Signed lower left. Provenance:

Paper has overall toning and matt burn around the extreme edges obscured mainly by the mat. Isolated minor surface issues are mostly visible on close inspection. Slight ripple to the sheet - Otherwise presents quite nice. -
