About the designer:

In 1951, Munis Zilberberg took over the family's small upholstery workshop and renamed it Celina Decoracoes in honor to his mother Celina Zilberberg.

With the takeover came a new philosophy and approach to business, with Celina Decoracoes striving to become a modern store that created its own designs. The company also embraced the idea of "interior architecture" and offered complete ambiances to the public using their own furniture. To launch itself, Celina Decoracoes utilized mass communication vehicles.

Celina Decorações had stores in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and, in addition to producing pieces in series, they also made a series of customizations in their furniture to meet the interior projects that they themselves offered to customers.
