Celina Decorações
Brazilian
Celina Decorações originated in 1951 under the leadership of Munis Zilberberg, who transformed the family's small upholstery workshop in Rio de Janeiro. Initially specializing in refurbishing sofa beds and antique furniture, the business was renamed in honor of Munis's mother, Celina Zilberberg. Munis revolutionized the company by introducing a new operational philosophy, envisioning Celina Decorações as a contemporary showroom that crafted its own distinctive designs.
Under Munis's stewardship, Celina Decorações pioneered the concept of "interior architecture," offering comprehensive room settings that showcased the company's bespoke furniture. Leveraging mass communication channels, the brand strategically launched itself to the public, establishing a reputation for innovative and sophisticated interior solutions
