A Swedish painted wood sideboard from the late 19th century, with three drawers over three doors. Created in Sweden during the last decade of the 19th century, this painted sideboard features a rectangular top sitting above a carved molding. The façade showcases three drawers with carved cartouches and classical hardware, sitting above three doors opening to reveal inner shelves. Painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes and boasting a nicely weathered patina, the sideboard is raised on four short tapered feet. With its clean lines and subtle décor, this Swedish sideboard circa 1890 will bring an undeniable touch of elegance to any dining room or living room.
