This exquisite dining table is characterized by its long rectangular top with gently curved sides, accentuated by exposed joinery on the sides, Supported by a sculptural pedestal base, this table is both visually striking and structurally sound.
Signed underneath as 'Espenet 6784,' this piece bears the mark of Arthur Espenet Carpenter, a renowned artisan based in Bolinas, California. Carpenter's exceptional craftsmanship has earned him a distinguished reputation, with his works proudly displayed in prestigious collections such as the Smithsonian Institution. Additionally, his creations have graced the exhibitions of esteemed institutions like the Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Contemporary Crafts in New York."
The table has been lightly restored with a hand-rubbed natural oil finish. It is in excellent condition with minor signs of age-appropriate wear.
