One of a kind, contemporary charred dining table, elaborate made by hand in Austria under the use of the so-called "Shou Sugi Ban" technique. After the large "disc" has been cutted off of a really huge, old oak tree, it has been beautifully burned/ charred and brushed. This very elaborate, traditional Japanese - also called "Yakisugi" - technique, is a traditional procedure to preserve wood through fire. This incredible looking masterpiece of a modern dining table has been crafted by a very talented Austrian designer/ carpenter and was produced only once! The fantastic designed table base was made of flamed blacksteel. Processed only under the use of high-quality materials and sophisticated craftsmanship techniques, this contemporary black oakwood dining table is an absolute one of a kind piece.
