The vintage flat-weave rug made by the queen of Swedish textile design Märta Måås-Fjetterström (bla natt och dag). Its bold and geometric design consists of oblique rows of serrated diamond-like shapes in shades of brown, yellow, aqua-green, ivory, beige on a shaded light and dark blue background. By bringing traditional weaving techniques back to life, Måås-Fjetterström produced compelling work of exceptional quality and surprisingly modern look suiting up-to-date interior design trends.
