An early 20th century Persian Sultanabad rug, the red field with a grid of floral, palmettes and vinery pattern enclosed with an ample decorative border and five narrow borders with palmettes, leaves, vinary and floral. The rug is rendered in red, blue, beige, navy and yellow.
