A vintage Swedish pile rug dating back to circa 1948. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. The rug displays stylized floral vines and enlarged, oval, ornamental medallions with some of them containing the peacock design. The design is framed with a solid border. The color palette is consists of pink, purple, sage, black, teal, and different hues of green. The Scandinavian style enchants with its uniqueness and unpretentious elegance.
