This contemporary Moroccan inspired hand-knotted wool rug features a bold, patchwork and abstract design with polka dot pattern. Uneven patches sprawled on the entire surface bring a strange sense of order to this otherwise chaotic composition. The color palette is as bold as the pattern, as it mixes hues like blue, oranges, off-white and red creating a warm and vibrant Moroccan look. Moroccan rugs, in their variety of textures, colors, and designs have stood the test of time. They are a classic staple in both classic and modern interiors. Our modern Moroccan rugs are handmade by artisans in small, specialized workshops, following the centuries-old tradition. They are handmade of natural undyed wool or of wool colored with natural dyes. Their designs are either of vintage tribal inspiration or traditional with an original twist, designs exclusive to Doris Leslie Blau.
