Description
A well-proportioned sideboard crafted in teak and metal, dating back to the 1950s, bears the signature of the renowned designer Arne Vodder for Sibast Furniture, Denmark.
This elegant piece of furniture fully embodies the principles of simplicity and elegance characteristic of Danish design in the 1950s, a period during which Arne Vodder emerged as one of the leading figures in this artistic movement. The sliding teak doors lend the sideboard a timeless elegance, while its minimalist structure perfectly encapsulates the modern and refined style of Scandinavian design in the mid-20th century.
The sideboard stands out for its linearity and essentiality, featuring retractable doors that, once opened, reveal a rational internal division of space. Thoughtfully spaced shelves and drawers designed for storing small items provide versatility, allowing the piece to seamlessly integrate into dining, living, or work spaces, catering to the varied needs of quality hospitality.
The furniture is in excellent condition, retaining all its original components intact. The original production label inside identifies "Sibast Furniture" as the manufacturer responsible for the piece, confirming its origin in Denmark.
