width: 28 in. (71 cm.),
depth: 10 in. (25 cm.)
Founded in 1967 by Alex Sarratt and Walter Reid, Sarreid Ltd. initially intended to find and bring back antiquities from Spain. The products that they found were not antiques but made in antique ways. Their early products were animal-inspired decorative objects. In time, they expanded into side tables, coffee tables, and the company’s signature brass chests of drawers. “Sarreid” combines their last names: ‘SAR’ from Sarratt and ‘REID’ from Reid.
Sarreid imported unique furnishings and accessories from around the world: hand-blown glass and hand-painted carvings from Italy, fine leather boxes from Korea, and sand cast brass from Spain. Sarreid is now based in Wilson, North Carolina. -
