The Purported Provenance Indicates That This Incredible Suite Of Sea Mythology Themed Objects On The Monumental Silver Framed Mirror Tray Was Commissioned By The Italian Government To Be Given As A Wedding Gift To Prince Mohammed Reza Pahlavi The Soon To Be Shah Of Iran on His Marriage To Princess Fawziya Of Egypt In Cairo March 15 1939.The French Government Gifted The Prince A Custom Unique 1939 Type 57 Bugatti Car.
