This serene and elegant Mid-Century Modernist Totem Form Sculpture in Frosted and Transparent Glass W/ Lacquered Base Signed Pierre Dinand originates from France, Circa 1970. Features a rectilinear vertical construction in two primary components of transparent and frosted glass that house an transparent oval of glass reminiscent of a polished riverstone. This sculpture rests on a black lacquered base, well proportioned and grounding the piece with material contrast slightly extending past the edges of the glass components of the sculpture. Signed by Pierre Dinand up the side of the transparent glass element, an artist known for his bottle designs and who explored sculpture extensively throughout his career. This lovely piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
