Description
The inspiration behind the Ovo Mirror Collection (Arc, Ellipse, and Trapezoid mirrors) was conceived by Lauren's fascination with early light and space artists who often hid mirrors within their work to manipulate the environment. Envisioned as an egg (ovo from Latin ōvum), the clear portion of the mirror represents the yolk and its definitive shape gives each mirror its name. Integrating different shapes and colored surfaces, each mirror playfully reflects images and light in two ways: focused images in the clear mirror and subtle echoes of the objects and people dancing in the background in the colored mirror creating a sensation that the space is alive and breathing.
