Description
Elaborately crafted Baroque revival marquetry side table from the mid 19th Century in Dresden around 1850. An absolutely amazing looking, antique German side table impressing with its fantastic set thick veneer and marquetry works. This over 170 year side table stands on elegantly curved, slender legs made of solid nutwood all adorned by artfully made brass applications. All veneered "fields" are outlined by narrow nutwood frames which are additionally framed by delicate maple threads - a true masterpiece. The highlight of this lovely baroque side table is definitely the table´s top plate with its unsual shape, gorgeous patterns and the intricate created marquetry work in the center showing a beautiful flower bouquet. This exceptional 19th century Baroque revival marquetry side table from the 1850s in Dresden is a real eyecatcher and comes in fantastic old restored condition, ready to embellish your home.
