Vintage Abstract Painting by Gloria Allison, Cuban -American Artist

Offered for sale is an acrylic on canvas figurative abstract oil painting of a woman by The Cuban - American artist Gloria Allison (1924-2013). The artist was born in Havana, Cuba in 1924 and made Miami, Florida her home in the early 1960s. She was heavily involved in the South Florida arts scene as an artist and gallery owner through out her entire career. She participated in the Coconut Grove Arts Festival for the first 15 years it was held; She was commissioned to do numerous works including all of the artwork for the Ocean Reef Club in Islamorada, FL and the Doral Country Club. This painting is sold unframed but stretched on wood. It will be wired and ready to hang.
