Description
A pair of "Jennifer" lounge chairs designed by renowned California designer of the 70s and 80s Michael Taylor (1927 – 1986). This incredible style of "stone" fiberglass chairs was originally designed for famed, Oscar winning actress Jennifer Jones who just wanted the perfect place to curl up and relax. According to the New York Times, Taylor favored "his brawny “rich Flintstones” aesthetic that clinched his celebrity and that decorators still feed on" as early as 1960." This style eventually became known as a "California look" using the indoor-outdoor living with both natural and faux materials. This pair of chairs, which date to C. 1985, will be a fabulous, easy addition to a Mid-Century Modern or Contemporary home. They could also be added to a more traditional home for that quirky and wonderful statement in a gameroom or study. They are ready to be used as is or if you decide to pair them with your cushions suitable to your color and decor.
