Description
Outstanding golden/ beige Murano glass flush mount ceiling light from the "Excelsior" series, artfully handcrafted by the famous company of Barovier & Toso - the oldest glass manufactory in Venice, dated back to 1295. The creations of Barovier&Toso are one-of-a-kind works in Venetian mouth blown crystal and handcrafted by master artisans in Murano, custodians of an age-old tradition passed down across the generations. Angelo Barovier invented a revolutionary formula that made it possible to obtain an unprecedented material with extraordinary characteristics of extreme transparency and brightness. This elaborately created Murano chandelier/ flush mount ceiling light with an accent on flowers and nature has been made out of 18 large, single glass leaves in the color "Champagne". Each thick glass leaf is mounted with a single golden screw and can be slightly adjusted. An extremly elegant Murano ceiling light designed in the form of a "corolla", made in the special "rugiada" technique to create a refined embroidered look. Petals overlap to form the image of a blossoming flower, suspended in the air. A truly unique lightning piece out of the world-renowed Murano glass art workshops of Barovier & Toso, coming in perfect "like new" condition.
An additional single replacement leaf is included. -
