Description
This charming 18th-century French chevet table is a timeless example of Louis XV style, blending functional design with graceful aesthetics. Crafted from oak wood, the table showcases a warm, rich patina that highlights the natural grain and age of the wood. Its curved apron and elegantly shaped cabriole legs embody the fluid, asymmetrical lines characteristic of the Louis XV style.
The table features a rectangular top with rounded edges, along with two drawers for practical storage. The top drawer is fitted with a decorative escutcheon, while the lower drawer has a simple brass pull, emphasizing the balance between refinement and utility. Perfect as a bedside table or an accent piece in a living room or hallway, this chevet table is a versatile and sophisticated addition to any classic interior. -
