Floral painted antique glass vase by Baccarat
French, 19th Century
Height 45cm, diameter 18cm
By the exceptionally highly regarded French maker Baccarat, this beautiful vase is made from glass and florally decorated with wonderfully executed Rococo floral designs. It is crafted in amphora form, and the body is applied with flowers and foliage in an elegant manner. The decoration sits around the widest point of the piece, and gilt detailing adorns the vase to the base and rim. With a wonderful gentle floral design, this elegant piece will make a vibrant antique addition to any interior.
