T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings was a renowned British-born American architect and designer celebrated for his masterful blend of classical influences with modernist sensibilities. His approach emphasized clean lines, refined proportions, and exquisite craftsmanship, establishing him as a leading figure in mid-century modern furniture. Robsjohn-Gibbings' designs often drew inspiration from ancient Greek and Roman art, infusing timeless elegance into contemporary forms.
Widdicomb Furniture Company, founded in 1890, was a prominent American manufacturer known for producing high-quality, stylish furniture.
