Large scaled lidded urn / jar by Jais Nielsen (1885-1961) for Royal Copenhagen, having four sides with figural reliefs, possibly depicting Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, with lid topped by a haloed figure, featuring an excellent “Sung” glaze in brown and pale taupe; stoneware; Denmark, mid-20th century; partial RH stamp, painted triple wave mark and “Jais,” carved “2964”
