Japonesque mixed metal sterling silver demitasse spoons with hunting and fishing motif. Made by William B. Durgin in Concord, New Hampshire, ca 1885.

Each: Tapering stem and ovoid bowl. Allover spot hammering. On terminal applied horse, fox, and fish, among other wildlife. In leather-bound case with fitted silk lining.

Fully marked including maker’s and retailer’s (Bailey, Banks & Biddle) stamps. Very good condition.

Dimensions: H 4 1/2 x W 7/8 in. Case: H 1 1/2 x W 11 1/4 x D 5 3/4 in. Total gross weight (spoons only): 2.3 troy ounces. #CA702
