Description
Two-seat sofa, model 2240, made of Beech wood designed by Søren Hansen in 1939 and manufactured by Fritz Hansen.
A rare find and very collectable piece.
As a sculptural piece, this lovely sofa/bench could find a place in any impressive house, standing in a lobby, or a living room as well, and could also be perfect standing in a bedroom or a dressing room.
Very good condition.
Original pieces from the 1930s newly re-upholstered in the traditional way by the best French craftsmen, we used a high quality velvet fabric from Kvadrat Raf Simons' collection and new foams.
We can particularly appreciate the work and savoir-faire of our team of upholsterers respecting the original design, using the right proportions and lines as Søren Hansen designed it in the 30's.
