Early to Mid-19th c. Shaker-Attributed Demi-Lune Table
-
Description
This is a charming mid-19th century pine demi-lune table that has been attributed to Shaker fabrication. The demi-lune measures a generous 40 inches wide and features a deep overhang on the triangular frame. The delicate legs narrow at the toes and feature pegged attachement to the triangular frame. The surface appears to be original. This is a very handsome and unique form of table (I would appreciate being advised of its exact origin).
