Pair of George III sterling silver sauce tureens. Made by Henry Green in London in 1782. Each: Ovoid bowl on same raised foot; leaf-mounted and reeded high-looping handles and raised cover with leaf-capped finial. Beading. Armorial engraved on cover and bowl. Beautiful and usable pieces in austere Georgian Neoclassicism. Fully marked. Very good condition.
