German Rococo silver keepsake casket, ca 1910. Lobed and bellied oval; cover hinged and domed with cherub finial and scallop shell tab. Chased and engraved ornament with leaf borders and scrolled frames in leaf and flower surrounds; four frames vacant and the other four inset with flowers and frolicking cherubs. Gilt-washed interior. Marked “800” with Hanau maker’s mark. Very good condition with deep patina.
