Danish Modern sterling silver centerpiece. Made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. Round and curved hand-hammered bowl with flared rim. Open stylized support comprising leaves, beaded tendrils, and grape bunches. Foot raised and spread. Visible hand hammering. A beautiful design that reflects the stylized naturalism that predominated in the early years. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (1945-77) and no. 197C. Very good condition.
