Pair of German Leather Armchairs & Ottoman by Wilkhahn
-
Description
Dimensions: 30 ⅞” H x 36 ⅜” W x 34” D
This vibrant seating ensemble–a style known as “Avera” from German firm Wilkhahn, designed in the late 20th century by Wiege, Frenkler, Kolberg & Birkenheuer–includes a pair of red leather-upholstered lounge chairs and matching ottoman. Enclosing the cherry red interior of luxurious full-grain leather is a molded plywood shell with walnut veneer (nodding to midcentury modern) and supported by cast aluminum legs. Wide seats are supremely comfortable, benefitting from thoughtfully engineered head and armrests gently folded over the shell for one to lounge or converse at length in a living room, study, or office. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition as there are some dark spots in the leather. Sold as a set of three pieces.
