French 19th Century Marble Top Garden Table

$ 4,500
  • Description
    Dimensions: 32 ⅛” H x 67” W x 29 ⅝” D

    An exceptional French marble-topped bakery or garden table with industrial details in the wrought and cast iron base reflecting the late 19th century time period. The white marble slab has a patinated and etched surface, consistent with age and type of use, over light gray veining. Two iron supports in an hourglass silhouette are enhanced with turquoise verdigris and hammered texture, joined by multiple cast iron stretcher rods ensuring stability for a multitude of uses. The unusual height of this table would make for a lovely console, in a kitchen as an unexpected island, or on the patio to recreate that Parisian boulangerie style at home.
