Description
The Hexa model table, designed by Bernard Vuarnesson and edited by Bellato, is a functional and original piece crafted in wood. This table stands out for its four reversible sliding tops in blue and cream, allowing the surface to expand in all directions. It offers an elegant and versatile solution — a standout example of French modular design from the 1980s.
Bernard Vuarnesson is a French designer and engineer known for creating ingenious transformable furniture, especially tables and consoles that combine functionality with refined aesthetics. With a background in mechanical engineering, he applies principles of precision and technical efficiency to interior design, developing pieces that adapt fluidly to space and use. His work is characterized by hidden mechanisms and sliding surfaces. The French company Bellato produced most of his designs during the 1980s and 1990s. His rational and elegant approach has made his creations iconic in the world of contemporary modular furniture.
