Unusual and Original 1930's Art Deco Bar

$ 7,500
  • Description
    Vintage Horseshoe Bar with Brass Trim and Bold Original Colors – A True Conversation Piece
    This vintage horseshoe bar is a standout piece that practically tells stories just by being in the room. With its vibrant character and unique styling, it looks like it’s been at the center of many unforgettable gatherings—perhaps following long bike rides, celebratory toasts, or casual evenings among friends.

    The construction is solid and enduring, with a polished brass top and matching brass foot rail that gleam with warmth and authenticity. These elements give the bar a sense of craftsmanship that’s hard to find today. The front panels are finished in an unusual but appealing muted canary yellow, contrasted with vivid Chinese fire-engine red trim and subtle taupe and brown details. The palette is both retro and modern, playful yet chic—sure to add life to any interior.

    Functionally, this piece is both practical and stylish. The backside includes generous storage, complete with integrated towel holders and a small drawer for bar tools or accessories. The horseshoe shape isn’t just for show—it facilitates easy conversation and creates a welcoming atmosphere. Four or more guests can gather comfortably around it, making this an ideal piece for a lounge, game room, or even a stylized home office or studio setting.

    The overall condition is excellent for its age, with only minimal signs of wear, which only add to its charm and authenticity. It’s a piece you install once and enjoy for decades to come. We wouldn’t change a thing. Just add cocktails and conversation. Barstools are sold separately.

    A wonderful and completely original Art Deco Bar. Unbelievable original condition and very unique. We have cleaned it thoroughly, waxed all surfaces, and slightly touched up the red paint in a few spots. The bar breaks down into two pieces and is held together in the middle with metal clips and hooks. It was purchased in Los Angeles and was bought from the daughter of a cyclist who participated in the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics.
