Dramatic bespoke slipper chair designed by Rose Tarlow-Melrose House Los Angeles, California. The Puccini slipper chair feature a hand-carved birch frame with an exaggerated scroll back. The generous seat is supported by shaped cabriole legs in the front. The wood is lacquered and embellished with 22 carat gold leaf around the apron and legs. The chair is upholstered with a silk mix fabric decorated flowers and foliage. The lacquered finish has an intentionally aged, distressed finish with noticeable wear to mimic age and patina as seen in photos. Very solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship.
The piece retains the original label to the underside.
