Single "Piccola Tentazione" ("Little Temptation") model 684 arm/club chair designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina (1973, Italy).
Smaller version of the Tentazione, which was available in two sizes, bearing its original four caster wheels for easy mobility.
Designed similarly to and around the same period as the "CAB" chair, sharing structural attributes -- textile and foam are tautly stretched around the internal structure composed of a plywood base supporting wooden struts and nylon turnbuckles finished with a black molded plastic sub-base.
Stylish with sleek, shapely contours, yet durable and comfortable while occupying a small footprint with its petite form.
Retains the original pine green silk upholstery (appears slightly blue in the video - but is in fact green with a tinge of blue) which has been meticulously cleaned, but shows light wear consistent with age/use (spotting, fading, and minor fabric snagging). Can be used as is with the aforementioned wear.
These were retailed by Cassina USA, hence the materials tag for the foam on the underside indicates American made .
