The reclaimed tabletop is a gorgeous cross-section of Chinese northern elm (yumu), selected for its density, warm coloring, and beautiful grain pattern. The raw, natural edges of the wood slab top contrast beautifully against the hard lines of the contemporary steel cube base. The unique name of this table honors its maker, Hana, a talented artisan and connoisseur of fine timbers who creates modern works inspired by Ming-dynasty furniture.
