Rare pair of federal style mirrors designed and produced in England in the later half of the 19th century. Each example features a central convex glass surrounded by a rich ebony color border, set within an impressive circular frame adorned with bullet button details. The opposing finely carved eagle crests add a stately touch, symbolizing strength and freedom, while the giltwood decorative elements enhance their grandeur.
