What stands out in this piece is its pleasantly concave form and well-balanced proportions, which cleverly conceal its generous size, comfortably seating up to four people.
The wooden frame, fully upholstered in a soft pistachio green velvet, reflects both the fashion of the 1950s and a timeless elegance. The design is strongly reminiscent of Gio Ponti’s distinctive style — the influential Milanese architect and designer who helped redefine 20th-century interiors. In the curvature of the backrest and armrests, Ponti’s aesthetic is clearly evident: rounded and voluminous, yet never heavy — refined, personal, and immediately recognisable.
