Victorian brilliant-cut glass decanter with sterling silver mounts. Made by Gorham in Providence, in 1892. Globular bowl with fluted neck and faceted c-scroll handle. Fern and diaper pattern. Sterling silver neck collar and hinged and domed cover; dense low-relief scrolls and flowers as well as beading and gadrooning. Silver fully marked including maker’s stamp, date symbol, and no. S1141. Very good condition.
