Description
George III sterling silver teapot. Made by Hester Bateman in London in 1780. Oval body with straight diagonal spout and capped and high-looping stained-wood handle; cover hinged and domed with leaf-mounted pineapple finial. Engraved wraparound garland with pendant ovals (vacant) between ornamental borders. Beading. Fully marked. Very good condition.
