Description
2 Elegant French Art Deco Cabinets / Sideboards / Buffets in the style of the French Master Designer, Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann circa 1925 -1932. (Priced and Sold as Individual Pieces). The cabinets are composed of rare Macassar Ebony wood and feature an exquisite inlaid X-form decoration on the front panels while resting on inlaid and delicately striped plinth bases. The interior is composed of sycamore wood providing a brilliant contrast to the sober front panels. The compact and functional overall form is practical for any living space and the piece contains 2 levels of shelves and 2 large drawers finished with show stopping, scooped brass handles, partially enameled in black. The pieces are finished with their original black onyx glass tops and with their original brass keys, specially designed for the cabinets. Overall, the effect is both welcoming and dynamic with a mixture of subtle form, rich materials and colors variations that delight the senses. Dimensions: H 42.4 x W 37.75 x D 23.13.
